"Bullygate", a shady saga

Kudos to David Lindsey for seeing through all the hogwash about Brown the so-called "bully".

As David said on his blog:

What sort of Prime Minister would you prefer? And I wonder at anyone who has never had a boss who shouted and swore a bit. Fleet Street is clearly not as one tends to think it is. Then again, perhaps they assume that no one else has had these experiences, since that would make them the same as everyone else?

I quite agree with him. Far rather a boss who bawled you out with some choice Anglo Saxonisms but allowed you to shout back at him in equally fruity language than some nasty snide sod of a manager anyday.

As insider #2 puts it:

Yes, Gordon has a temper. But in all honesty it is no worse than working in a newspaper office or a TV newsroom.

He will erupt more than most people do but I certainly don't remember it as a place of fear and loathing. But just like a media news editor, he would occasionally shout, “What the f*** is all that about?”
There's one really good thing about the man, which is that you are allowed to shout back without it being held against you. But shouting does not happen every day. It's not like he wanders around seething all day.
As for bullying, that's utter bollocks. Can he have a violent temper? Yes, he can. Can he also be very kind? Yes. The idea that we were waiting for him to explode is nonsense.
There was not a blame culture. If you were in the room when something went wrong, he would shout but I never heard him say, “it's all your fault”. It always ended up with him blaming himself.

And before you start thinking it, the insider isn't the only person to have defended Gordon either. So has Peter Watt - no Brown fan, he - on Newsnight last night, noting that the language used to describe Brown is "a bit strong". Quite so. One of the chief rhetorical culprits in this sorry story is the word "abuse". Abuse is one of those vague and not easily defined words which means child rape at one extreme to something as minor as swearing at the other and everything else in between.

And then there's that curious character, the appropriately named Christine Pratt, founder and spokesperson at large for the National Bullying Helpline, who popped up just when the story might have started to go cold with her strange tales of terrified Number 10 staff ringing her helpline. Lindsey is bang on the money when he says:

Deafening silence from the usual critics of fake charities about the National Bullying Helpline, whose income in 2007 was a mere £1,818, with expenditure of £852. The figures for 2008 are 207 days overdue. In 2007, £1000 was raised by CLM Solicitors and Monahans, £200 by BNY Mellon Asset Services, and around £600 pounds from all other donations. Ann Widdecombe is a Patron, though one does have to wonder for how much longer after today's breach of confidentiality. And the helpline refers callers to a human resources consultancy run by Christine Pratt and her husband.

Yes, this looks like a very shady saga indeed.

Very many thanks.

At PMQs today, the only person trying to keep "Bullygate" going was some unknown backbencher whose question had clearly been planted earlier in the week. The whole thing is as dead as Andrew Rawnsley's career or Christine Pratt's "charity".

But then, think of everyone, and what an awful lot of them there were, who was touted in the Blair years as a potential obstacle to Brown's ascent. Where are they now? Most of them are not even standing this year, and none will ever again be a Minister.

The Tories are reduced to trying to blame Brown for prehistoric briefing against Alistair Darling by Damian McBride, whom Brown appears to have known only by his surname. Hundreds of people work in Downing Street, and they all think that they are best mates with the Prime Minister. But they are not.

All this, and Brown is against assisted suicide, too.

Dear Red Maria

Max Clifford has taken up the 'Bullygate' case for Christine Pratt

I have yet to hear anything from the National Bullying Helpline about my case in the Conservative controlled London Borough of Bexley which I reported to them by e-mail i.e...One of Old Nick's titles is the 'prince of liars'.

This morning (Wednesday, 4 November, 2009) I thought the working atmosphere in Erith and in particular at RESOURCES PLUS was malevolent in the extreme.

Like prisoners in their cells ex-offenders, and the poor unemployed are soft targets as the subjects of wicked lies.

On more than one occasion this morning I defended myself, and the unemployed against outrageous accusations associated with the ever increasing clampdown of both resources and freedom of speech that is currently being vigorously implemented by your bullying staff at RESOURCES PLUS.

The last time I defended myself verbally and in writing against such treatment, RESOURCES PLUS employed the Borough Solicitor to viciously put the boot in with an unjust banning order based on a pack of lies.

As an alternative to this provocation and bullying of a leading opponent of the neo-Nazi MEP Nick Griffin, and the BNP, don't you think that some true RESOURCES here in the Conservative controlled London Borough Bexley should made available to me, so that I can get a JUSTICE NOT VENGEANCE 1991-2009 resolution to my individual FOOTBALL AGAINST RACISM IN EUROPE case that has been backed by both John Austin MP and Darren Johnson the Chair of the Greater London Authority.

This would not only help me get work, it would create a great cheer that will be heard in all 27 member states of the European Union.

This coming Saturday 7th November 2009 Orbit South will be bringing their consultant Scott Wilson to the Larner Road Estate where I live to discuss the regeneration of our community. The project is backed by funds from the Government's Homes & Communities Agency, and the London Borough of Bexley and it is a perfect opportunity to present details of my suppressed FOOTBALL AGAINST RACISM IN EUROPE consultancy work to the development world

At the next General Election former Met Police Inspector Michael Barnbrook, the BNP's Police Spokesman, will be standing as a candidate for MP in Our Lady of the Rosary's Parish, Blackfen, which is in the late Sir Edward Heath's Old Bexley & Sidcup constituency.

Our Lady of the Rosary pray for us in BNP leader Nick Griffin MEP's EU/GLA/LDA/ODA NEO-NAZI DEVELOPMENT TIMES Amen

Yours sincerely

Dear Red Maria

I'm sure your anti-bullying blog can become a source of great help to 'Anonymous', and the poor people of Europe too.

I qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1984, and the product of my professional experiences 1984-2010 are available to you anytime.

The hermeneutic of continuity's Father Finigan, described you to me in the following glowing terms..."Yes, Red Maria is a good influence from the left who maintains a good pro-life stance. She is a hard hitter on political matters and an asset to the apostolate".

Joan Ruddock was was chair of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament when Addey & Stanhope's Deptford Team backed her to replace the late John Silkin as MP for Lewisham Deptford in 1987, at the CND meeting UNDERNEATH THE ARCHES, that was attended by Michael Foot and Bruce Kent.

During this meeting I handed full details of the Reigate Emergency Communications Centre, for which I was the RICS qualified project surveyor, to Bruce Kent and CND.

For nearly twenty years my English Catholic 'A Deo et Rege' consultancy has been oppressed by a perverse and corrupt interpretation of the law that has benefited the development of the BNP to the point where they now strut about on the European Parliamentary stage.

The details that I have proposed to present to David Hanson MP Minister of State for Policing, Crime and Counter-Terrorism are certainly damaging to the reputation of the British Justice System, but they are not a heartless Blackbeard's cold eyed response, such as the huge car bomb that exploded outside a Northern Ireland court earlier this week, in an attack blamed on dissident republicans, just weeks after an agreement was finally brokered on devolving sensitive policing powers.

The Addey & Stanhope Founders Day Reunion is at the school on the evening of the 4th March 2010. This annual event is crucial to London's ongoing JUSTICE NOT VENGEANCE FOCUS City Challenge.

At the next General Election former Met Police Inspector Michael Barnbrook, the malevolent neo-Nazi BNP Police Spokesman, will be standing as a candidate for MP in Father Finigan's Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Blackfen, which is in the late Sir Edward Heath's Old Bexley & Sidcup constituency. Nick Griffin MEP, the BNP's leader will be standing as a candidate for MP in the Barking & Dagenham constituency here in London at the next General Election.

Our Lady of the Rosary pray for us in BNP leader Nick Griffin MEP's EU/GLA/LDA/ODA NEO-NAZI DEVELOPMENT TIMES Amen

Yours sincerely
